The Tuning Fork - Adjustment needed to weather the storm

I was in a meeting Saturday and received a word from the Lord about adjustments needed in our lives and in the Body of Christ as we move into a difficult season in the nations, the church and personally.

I had a picture of a tuning fork which is used to calibrate and test delicate equipment such as radar. The tuning fork gives a calibrated, certain sound and equipment is then adjusted to match. The word I was giving was a tuning fork sound designed to bring correction and adjustment that was needed.

God is our tuning fork and the source of our "sound". He gives us our direction and when a tuning fork is sent it releases a heavenly sound that gives fine and much needed direction for us to adjust our thinking and our views. It is not the broad call to repent and turn direction 180 degrees, rather, it is a call to make the finer adjustments needed for particular circumstances.

The word directs that we must seek Him first as our vital and urgent necessity. Remember, when we are considering our practical needs we were directed by Jesus as follows: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these. things shall be added unto you." Matt. 6: 33

We also know that we are His sheep and hear His voice and not the voice of another (Jn. 10: 5; 27-28). When we release a word in this context we are His tuning fork issuing a clear sound that requires action and adjustment. I shared the word with the meeting, however, I believe it is for broader application and circulation.

Context - I shared about the current state of affairs in our nations from inflation to a pending sovereign debt crisis (see other blogs for details). I shared that:

1. God is Establishing a New Foundation - a plumb line is being held over nations, cities, businesses and the Church. Righteousness and justice will flow and a true measure not a false measure will be put in place as God hates a false measure, lies, and misrepresentation. He is raising a righteous standard in the land and will wipe away false measures like one wipes and plate clean: I will stretch out over Jerusalem the same line that I used to measure Samaria and the same mason’s level that I used on Ahab’s family. I will wipe Jerusalem clean the same way someone wipes a plate clean... 2 Kings 21:13
   

2. He is Dealing with a False Measure over Currency/Economy - Lies are being exposed including the lie that deficits do not matter. Modern Monetary Theory is exposed and in addition to stagflation, hyperinflation is a potential reality. Price is truth and massive unfunded spending is a false economy. These are turbulent times. As Prophet Veronika West stated, there are parallel 7 year cycles - blessings for the righteous remnant and a transfer of wealth from the unrighteous.
   

3. Answer for the Righteous Remnant is to Operate in Identity - love and anointing. The "Moses Identity" where we hear the Word of God and act on it. Like David's prayer (1 Sam. 17) we are in Him, hearing His words and acting on them. We are not rushing ahead with our own ideas but moving according to His direction.

Tuning Fork Adjustment

In this context what is the adjustment that God is calling for us to make? God wants more for us at this time. He does not want us to be blessed in the curse that is overtaking people - He wants us to prosper outside of this. It is not about doing better in the outhouse. No, He wants us to be operating in blessing in the Kingdom house.

Currently, the church, like the world is caught up in what is happening. They are, to a large extent, operating with a similar false measure of debt fuelled spending and false prosperity. As Jesus warned, they are full of the leaven (yeast) of the Pharisees and of Herod (Matt. 16:6) - types for this worlds views. They are in the outhouse not Kingdom and will be impacted by what is going on. What I am hearing from many speakers is that somehow believers or the church will be treated differently. I have heard people say that it will be "ok" for believers and that God will "save" us. That the righteous have never been forsaken. While there is truth in there, salvation from consequences is not the message - God is not saying that it will be OK so make no changes, go back to sleep, and keep going in financial disobedience as you have been going.

NO! The cry of the watchman blowing the trumpet is to wake up! Change your actions, get ready and do what God is asking us to do. We are to be impacted by the leaven (yeast) of the Kingdom. “...The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and mixed into three measures of flour, until all of it was leavened. Matt 13:33

The panacea words of false hope are neglecting the core principle of the Bible - the blessings are there for us paid for by Jesus but we must operate in them. "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chron. 7:14

There is the "if" requiring action and obedience on the part of God's people. Put another way, if believers do not humble themselves and pray and do not do things differently then they will not hear from heaven and their land will not be healed. If God is saying to come out of Egypt, as a type of the world economic system, be aware that if you remain you will suffer like Egypt suffers. If you are full of the world's leaven (Pharisees and Herod - religious and political) then you can expect a worldly outcome.

There is an often misquoted scripture that is directly on point here. This scripture deals with being blessed under the curse and cautions against believing speakers or prophets that say there is no curse.

Blessing in a Curse: Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; …

For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the Lord. For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: Jer 29:7-12

The tuning fork message is that this need not apply to us under Christ who bore the cost and paid the price of the curse for us. We do not have to remain in the broken system hoping for a "someday" expected end. God wants us to establish a working Kingdom system and economy. We are to be leading and showing the way. Like modern-day Josephs, we do not cooperate with the famine, instead, we have a Kingdom system that works as it comes directly from the King.

So many of the mistaken, deaf, and not-hearing prophets and speakers are talking about being in difficult times and that God will still help us. True, but not God's plan -- He will help and rescue the lost lambs but he wants us to set up the Kingdom and be His hands extended. The world and many of our friends and neighbours are falling into the ditch naked and robbed by the broken economy. God wants us to be fully equipped Good Samaritans with the ability and capability to help and fund. Listen to me brothers and sisters. If you are naked and in a ditch you don't want another broke person joining you - you want someone to come as a Godly empowered deliverer.

Kingdom means being His hand extended, setting up a new system that works. We are to be like trees planted by the water. We know what is coming. Is the best we can do to just believe we will be blessed in the mess? Face it, most believers are not blessed financially now so what makes us believe that things will be better when times get even worse? No - God wants us to break free from this doomed situation, join the digital rapture and set up end-times systems that work.

In summary, the tuning fork word is to not accept your lot in the cursed system hoping for an expected end when there is a better way. Be the Job 29, Isaiah 58 and Psalm 112 Godly rich people who can be deliverers. Join the wise kings who brought gold and gifts to empower God's plan at this time.
