Forced Vaccination and Vaccine Passports -------
Are vaccine passports needed to combat Covid-19, or are Covid-19 and vaccine passports needed to progress a preexisting political initiative? To the extent that the latter is relevant, the vaccine passports are not warranted and should be fought by all who believe in civil liberties and freedom in liberal democracies. Let us also be clear that “voluntarily” taking a medical treatment after being forced to disclose medical information and under threat of economic loss or loss of freedom is not valid consent and is not voluntary. It is more akin to forced conversion at the point of a gun or forced governmental abortion to further a one child political policy and should have no part in a modern democratic society.
Dividing a population, shaming, “othering”, scapegoating, or vilifying a segment of society is also immoral and illegal. Look no further than Canada for heinous examples of this government overreach in the context of the Covid pandemic. Despite the fact that the vaccinated can catch Covid and spread Covid, the unvaccinated are prohibited from dining out, travelling internationally, travelling inter-provincially and are excluded from many services. Doctors are advising patients that they will not be treated for other illnesses unless they are vaccinated which is a clear violation of their oaths. Public officials are calling for shaming and excluding these “selfish individuals” in a two tier system. No allowance is made for natural immunity. There is a clear desire to move the population onto a digital passport model, the tenders for which are linked to digital identity, geolocation and digital payments.
In NZ, the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was interviewed:

It is likely that anyone being pressured by an entity without informed valid consent would place that entity in moral and legal jeopardy should there be untoward impacts. I suggest that this view is partially proven by the thousands of litigations currently being initiated in many jurisdictions.
As noted, in other jurisdictions such as Canada, Australia, NZ and parts of the US, we are seeing troubling indications of rising “totalitarian” activity. This includes vaccine mandates; restrictions on guaranteed rights such as mobility; and staff being terminated for exercising their personal medical autonomy. I could set these examples out in detail, but many of these excesses are evident to all. What is not readily seen due to media suppression is the millions of people in society who are protesting for their rights and against tyranny leading to global protests such as the global walkout held on 3 November 2021. There is a thread of government policy on this topic that predates the pandemic. Certainly, this can be well tracked from 2014 when the “WEF chairman hopes the forum will help push a “reset” button on the world economy”. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAjYAXYGPuI) Many global leaders concerned about global issues postulated a Fourth Industrial Revolution which, in global political parlance, has morphed from “The Great Transformation” and now into the “Great Reset” (http://reparti.free.fr/schwab2020.pdf) with its catchphrase to “Build Back Better”. This catchphrase has been adopted by US President Joe Biden, Canada PM Justin Trudeau, NZ PM Jacinda Ardern and PM Boris Johnson, among others:

So, in May, 2018, the WEF partnered with Johns Hopkins to simulate a fictitious pandemic — dubbed “Clade X” — to see how prepared the world be if ever faced with such a crisis. A little over a year later, the WEF once again teamed-up with Johns Hopkins, along with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to stage another pandemic exercise called Event 201 in October, 2019.
In 2020, Klaus Schwab, WEF went on to state :

Why is this relevant to our discussion? There is strong evidence that there is a political initiative at work. Whether this is for good or for ill is not the point here. The point is that vaccine passports may not be driven solely by the realities around Covid-19. As many writers have noted, there is a desire to use the urgency and extraordinary rights granted by “an emergency” to undertake preplanned societal reforms.
As noted left-wing activist Dr Naomi Wolf has warned, a digital vaccine passport is a dramatic departure from our understanding of civil liberties and represents a shift towards a social credit subscription system (as seen in use by the CCP - Chinese Communist Party) where our rights can only be exercised with the permission of the government. In Israel, for example, your passport is not valid unless you keep taking any “boosters” that are deemed necessary.
This concern was echoed in the UK:
Big Brother Watch director Silkie Carlo told the Guardian last week: “Vaccine passports would create the backbone of an oppressive digital ID system and could easily lead to a health apartheid that’s incompatible with a free and democratic country. Digital IDs would lead to sensitive records spanning medical, work, travel, and biometric data about each and every one of us being held at the fingertips of authorities and state bureaucrats”. In the UK a leading civil rights group states:
One thing every suggestion has missed is that it’s impossible to have immunity passports which do not result in human rights abuses.
We should all be able to live our lives free from unnecessary interference – any form of immunity passport would rob us of that. And history tells us that once we give up these hard-won rights, we rarely get them back.
Even the introduction of a voluntary passport to prove if you’ve had a vaccine could result in many being blocked from essential public services, work or housing. Meanwhile once these passports have been created for one purpose – like travel – it would be all too easy for their use to be extended and abused.

This is why there seems to be such disconnect with many of the narratives we are seeing. Boris Johnson has agreed in a recent speech that the vaccinated can catch Covid, spread Covid and die from Covid. There is growing evidence that the vaccinated have less ability to deal with variants:
It is now established that the mRNA vaccine possibly reduces disease severity, but a) does not prevent infection, and b) does not prevent transmission. Indeed, there is increasing evidence that areas with the highest vaccination rates, also have the highest case rates, for example when comparing Maine with California.
Double jabbed - double case rates
According to the latest government official UK reports, case rates per 100,000 are now double in the double vaccinated population compared to the unvaccinated for people aged 40 to 79. There is also a school of thought that a wide scale vaccination with “leaky” vaccines has challenged Covid to produce more dangerous variants for which the unvaccinated have a full immune potential, however, the vaccinated have a compromised immune potential due to the vaccines. We can leave that point for further investigation, however, a rush to demonise or vilify the unvaccinated for their decision does not appear to be warranted. This is probably why many have taken the view that the press for vaccination and vaccine passports relates to other government initiatives and politics.
Even if this was not the case, vaccine mandates should be resisted, as should any move to coerce staff with firings or job pressure such as we are seeing in other jurisdictions. Any of us that are in organisations must consider the facts and concerns raised and acknowledge that these measures are not directly or exclusively related to Covid-19. There is a political dynamic at work and we should resist any undue pressure and coercion, particularly in the context set out above.
